While I'm on the subject of Poultry I think you should meet Victoria the Duck and Lennie the Drake. These two are the ambassadors of my 13 ducks, If I haven't fed them by 8 in the morning Victoria and Lennie climb up the veranda stairs (no easy feat for a duck) and come into the house to find me.

I had Victoria pulling on my pyjama leg the other morning even be for I had had my second coffee of the day. Gotta love Ducks

The Story Book Bears Have a New Baby

I'd like you to meet Baby Alice.

I finished her last night and already I've had to change her nappy. You see I made it to match Alice in cream with soft dusty pink edges, sound pretty right.

NO, it really did look like I needed to change her nappy. She's now wearing a cream nappy, much much much better and now she's already for her new home.

I wounder if she knows that from now on all the bears that go to live overseas will need an Ozzie passport?

inspiration over load

Yes, I'm back with sooo many ideas, it's an inspiration overload. Just a little time away from my bears and my mind goes crazy with ideas. Now there's not enough time in the day again to do all that I want, yippee!

Lulu in her Tutu is going to live in Belgium, to all the girls that are doing the Melbourne work shops at Bear Essence we will also be doing Lulu in her tutu, but a different body colour.

Now I'm off to start a Lulu in her black tutu.

This in Mayhem and this is where I found her this morning making a lovely nest on my teddy table.

There's nothing quite like hens that deliver their own eggs warm and fresh.

Where is the Motivation

Do you ever find it hard to find inspiration?


The last few weeks I've need a little help to get motivated.


I've tided all the beads & fabrics in my sewing room, rearrange all my mohair & bear supplies in my bear corner of the family room, and still haven't finished this little ballerina bear. She has her embroider nose now, her eyes are in and she has one leg.

My goal to day is to finisher her,
